A traditional pub with a contemporary twist. Warm material choices and carefully selected fabrics infused the space with a homely atmosphere, while existing features were refurbished to retain the pub’s character.

Energy efficiency – installation of energy-efficient lighting fixtures, motion sensors, and programmable thermostats to reduce energy consumption and lower utility costs.

Statement flooring – incorporation of bold patterns, textures and designs to make a distinctive statement in each room.

Creation of bespoke wood panelling tailored to the unique needs and aesthetics of The Corner House.

This was a collaborative effort with local interior designer Rachel Taylor playing a pivotal role in bringing the client’s vision to life.

Once a beacon of community activity, The Corner House had begun to lose its former glory. However, with the support of Chris Mains and the invaluable assistance of Darlington Borough Council’s Town Centre Fund, the historic establishment underwent a remarkable transformation.

The refurbishment project surpassed the expectations of its proprietors, delivering a transformative overhaul that revitalised the entire establishment.

Every aspect of the project, from the ground floor to the meticulously renovated upper-floor living quarters, received meticulous attention. Our team managed the installation of cutting-edge electrical systems, seamlessly integrated premium flooring materials sourced from our in-house divisions and executed a comprehensive facelift of both the exterior and interior aesthetics.
