Woodham Burn Community Primary School refurbishment
Project details
186 successfully delivered a comprehensive three-week programme of internal and external works for Woodham Burn Community Primary School in Newton Aycliffe, a member of the Lingfield Education Trust.
The project involved significant external enhancements, including the professional spraying of the external curtain walling and targeted improvements to the school’s outdoor play area to enhance the students’ environment.
Internally, the team executed extensive structural upgrades and modernisations which included critical plumbing and electrical works. The project also featured the installation and upgrading of safety-compliant fire doors, sink area upgrades and toilet refurbishments.
The interior transformation was completed with fresh plastering, the installation of new suspended ceilings, high-quality flooring and comprehensive general decoration and finishes.
Additionally, the works included the safe removal and disposal of hazardous asbestos materials.
Overall, the project helped deliver a refreshed, revitalised, and safer learning environment for the school community.
