NHS Sedgefield – COVID secure reception and partitioning

The project was implemented for Robertson FM on behalf of their client – NHS Clinical Commissioning Group, who administratively manage the local hospitals.

The specification was in two parts:

Firstly, to supply and install a COVID safe reception screen with matching beech hardwood frame and sliding glass openings to protect reception staff in a busy public area.

Secondly, to install a stud partition wall with “click-wall” laminated covering, matching beech hardwood frame and white access door to create a divide within a corridor between and staff and public.

The design and fit had to incorporate existing beech hardwood finishes. It also had to incorporate patient and delivery interaction. We installed a stud partition wall with secure access door matching the existing finishes.

Working closely with the client, we delivered the project within their live public reception opening hours, so as not to impact on their service delivery.
