Veolia Blackpool – Dilapidation of refuse truck facility

The project started when we were asked to review a Landlords dilapidations claim as it was the clients intention to undertake work themselves before returning the unit to the Landlord at lease end.

Advised by the in-house surveyor we set about the difficult task of completing all works including roof and yard repairs within a 6 week period starting in November.

The unit had been used for refuse truck storage and had not been maintained during the lease, the lease clauses were onerous and as such a high standard of repair was required.

It was critical that the Tenant handed keys back to the Landlord before Christmas day so there was no room for error.
